Bahrain’s FM Highlights King Mohammed VI’s Commitment to Al-Quds Al-Sharif

Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani has praised King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, for his commendable role in defending Al-Quds Al-Sharif and preserving its Muslim and Palestinian identity.

Recalling the Al-Quds Committee’s intensive fieldwork of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency, Al-Zayani stressed King Mohammed’s steadfast efforts in advocating for the Palestinian cause and preserving the unique status of Al-Quds, Jerusalem.

According to a joint statement issued after talks held in Marrakech today between Morocco’s Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita and his Bahraini counterpart, the two parties stressed the importance of the Palestinian issue and its importance to Arab nations.

The two ministers especially emphasized their countries’ commitment to the Palestinian cause, saying that both Morocco’s King Mohammed VI and Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa have long championed Palestinians’ legitimate right to create an independent state.

The two ministers also discussed the Arab region’s political and security situation, emphasizing the urgency of establishing a joint Arab action in developing Arab nations’ capacities, preserving their security and stability, and achieving sustainable development in the MENA region.

They also expressed their delight at the convergence of their perspectives on the different concerns and difficulties confronting the region.

In line with the two countries’ support for each other’s territorial integrity, Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated his country’s support for the Moroccanness of the Sahara, according to the joint statement.

For his part, Bourita used this opportunity to repeat Morocco’s unwavering support of Bahrain’s endeavor to preserve its security, stability, and national unity.
