Moroccan boxer Khadija Mardi will race for the final of the world championship today

Moroccan professional boxer Khadija Mardi will be competing for the Women’s World Boxing Championship this Friday, 5pm in Turkey, after qualifying for the final of the Championship.

El Mardi qualified after beating Uzbek Mukhira Abdulayeva this Wednesday.

Competing in the 81 kg category, El Mardi qualified for the final of the women’s world boxing championship, to be held from 6 to 21 May 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey, where the Moroccan champion will face the Turkish Sennur Demir.

Khadija El Mardi, one of the Moroccan pugilists representing the Moroccan flag in Serbia, won the gold medal, at the 9ᵉ edition of the Boxing Nations tournament.

The Moroccan champion had distinguished herself in Serbia back in 2019, where she earned the gold medal, at the 9ᵉ edition of the Boxing Nations tournament.
