The national U-20 soccer team lost by 1 to 2 against its Egyptian counterpart, in a match held Sunday in Abha, Saudi Arabia, during the quarterfinals of the Arab Cup U-20.
Morocco had taken the lead by scoring the first goal of the game in the 22nd minute, signed by Oussama El Yaakoubi, but the Egyptians managed to score two goals through Ahmed Hawach in the 31st minute, and Salah Mustapha in the 61st minute.
Therefore, Morocco leaves this Arab competition, while Egypt qualifies for the semi-finals, joining Palestine and Saudi Arabia.
