Brunei Darussalam supports the Kingdom of Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over the Moroccan Sahara, the Second Foreign Minister of Brunei Darussalam, Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof, said on Monday in Rabat.
Brunei Darussalam commends the Kingdom of Morocco’s efforts to achieve a “lasting and peaceful” settlement of the Moroccan Sahara issue, said Yusof at a press briefing following talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita.
For his part, Bourita hailed the “lasting and positive” stance of Brunei, a friendly country which has always shown its support for the Kingdom.
This important working visit to Morocco by Brunei Darussalam’s second Foreign Minister is the country’s first of its kind.
