Celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Aïn Sebaâ Hay Mohammadi Industrial Zone

The oldest industrial zone in Morocco, namely the Aïn Sebaâ Hay Mohammadi industrial zone celebrated its 100th anniversary on May 24, 2022 in Casablanca, in the presence of several personalities.

100 years that the Aïn Sebaâ Hay Mohammadi industrial zone has contributed to the development of the Moroccan industrial ecosystem. To this end, the Association of the Aïn Sebaâ Hay Mohammadi Industrial Zone (AZIAN) and the prefecture of Aïn Sebaâ Hay Mohammadi organized an event to celebrate the centenary of the zone, this May 24, 2022 in Casablanca. The objective was to highlight the economic and societal role of the area, highlight its companies and create networking and business opportunities between leaders.

Several personalities took part in the celebration of the 100 years of the area. These include Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, Saïd Ahmidouch, Wali of the Casablanca-Settat Region and Governor of the Casablanca prefecture, Hassan Benkhayi, Governor of the Aïn Sebaâ district prefecture Hay Mohammadi, Abdellatif Maâzouz, President of the Casablanca Settat Region, Said Naciri, President of the Casablanca Prefecture Council and Nabila Rmili, Mayor of Casablanca.

The event was marked by the signing of 5 agreements between AZIAN and the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT), the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC) , Mundiapolis University, the National Agency for the Fight Against Illiteracy (ANLCA) and the Grand Mogador hotel.

Recall that the industrial zone is located on an area of 435 hectares and hosts more than 500 companies, which operate in more than 30 branches of activity. These companies generate more than 38,000 direct jobs.
