Chakib Alj and Mehdi Tazi Re-Elected as CGEM Heads for 2023-2026 Term

Chakib Alj and Mehdi Tazi were re-elected, Tuesday in Casablanca, president and vice-president general of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), during the Ordinary and Elective General Assembly (AGOE), for the 2023-2026 term.

The pair received the endorsement of 3255 votes, out of 3286 votes cast, a rate of 99%, after the approval of the moral and financial reports, by the Assembly.

Speaking on this occasion, the binomial unveiled its program declined in 4 axes and placed under the sign “Liberate the energies for a sustainable and inclusive growth”.

These are the improvement of the business climate, the development of human capital, economic inclusion and the preparation of the national economy to future issues and challenges.

They also indicated that they will focus during their term on supporting the development of electric mobility, in addition to supporting businesses in their digital transformation and encouraging the development of a dynamic tech ecosystem, with a view to modernizing the national economy.
