Final Round” by its director, Mohamed Fekrane, will take part in the 2nd edition of the Al-Quds Arab Film Festival, which will be held from May 14 to 17, alongside other cinematographic works, the festival management announced.
The Moroccan film, which combines drama and suspense to address the issue of illegal immigration, will participate in the competition of feature films, with five other movies, namely “Ghadwa”, “Qadha” from Tunisia, “Abu Saddam” from Egypt, “Europa” from Iraq and “Oltilak Khalas” from Lebanon.
The director of the Festival, Nivine Shaheen, said that the second edition of this event will be held despite the obstacles that may face any cultural initiative in the city of Al Quds.
She highlighted, in a statement, the need for the city to enhance its spatial identity and cultural space and raise its communication with other Arab countries.
In addition to film screenings, workshops and seminars including on film criticism, will be organized on the sidelines of this Festival.
