At the end of Friday’s match between the national soccer team of the under 17 years old and its Senegalese counterpart, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, congratulated, in a phone call, the members of the national squad for their great performance in the final match of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON-2023) and their qualification for the World Cup 2023.
HM the King spoke on the phone with the coach of the national team, Said Chiba, to whom the Sovereign expressed His sincere congratulations to the players and the technical and administrative staffs who have given the best of themselves and accomplished an excellent course during this major sporting competition.
The Sovereign called on the members of the national team to stay the course, to continue to honor the national soccer and to carry high the flag of the Kingdom.
