The results of Bank Al-Maghrib’s (BAM) monthly industry survey for May indicate a continued improvement in activity.
Thus, the production would have increased in all the branches of activity except for the “chemistry and parachemistry” and “electrics and electronics” where it would have rather decreased, specifies the Central Bank in its survey based on data collected between June 1st and June 30th, 2022.
In these conditions, the rate of production capacity utilization would have been stood at 73%, adds the same source.
As for sales, they have experienced a stagnation, including an increase in “mechanics and metallurgy” and “electrics and electronics”, a decline in “textiles and leather” and “chemicals and parachemistry” and stagnation in “food”.
The orders would have increased in all branches of activity with the exception of “textiles and leather” and “electrics and electronics” where they would have stagnated.
