The minister of Industry and Trade, Riyadh Mezzour, said, Monday in Rabat that a total of 900 projects are planned within the framework of the policy of import substitution by investments.
Mr, Mezzour, who was speaking at the House of Representative, explained that these projects will enable the creation of 80,000 direct jobs and 120,000 indirect jobs.
He added that the Kingdom is adopting a policy based in particular on the control of imports, noting that 125,000 control operations have been carried out.
Regarding the simplification of procedures related to land dedicated to industrial investment, the minister stressed that the real estate is estimated at 10,000 hectares, of which 3,000 ha is available to investors, adding that his department seeks to promote territorial justice in terms of distribution of real estate dedicated to industrial investment.
