In a similar statement, Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports Chakib Benmoussa, said that the emphasis is placed on the roadmap that Morocco has developed under the High Royal guidance, which goes in line with the model outlined by the UN Secretary General at the high-level meeting of the Summit on the education transformation.

He noted in this sense that the UN Secretary General António Guterres has stressed the importance of the quality of education and schooling of children, regardless of their status, as well as the need to provide school children with tools to help them fully develop their skills and abilities, said the Minister.

In the same respect, he added that the senior UN official has also stressed the aspect related to teachers and ways to improve their skills.

In his speech, Guterres noted that this summit can achieve its global objectives only by creating a global movement, stressing the mobilization of governments, youth, civil society, teachers, business leaders and donors.
