The Moroccan women’s boxing selection will participate in the world championships to be held from May 6 to 21 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The national colors will be defended during these worlds by six pugilists, namely Yassmine Moutaqui (less than 48 kg), Zahra Zahraoui (-54 kg), Widad Bertal (-57 kg), Chaimae Ghadi (-60 kg), Oumaima Belhabib (-66 kg) and Khadija El Mardi (+ 81 kg), indicates a press release from the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation.
In anticipation of this world sporting event, the women’s national team is doing a preparation course in Turkey, which continues until the current 05, where Moroccan boxers will compete with sparring partners in order to raise their level.
The national team is supervised by national coaches Abdelhak Achik and Youssef Sourour.
