Vietnamese Delegation Discovers Investment Opportunities in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra Region

President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (CCIS-RSK), Hassan Sakhi, received, Wednesday in Rabat, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Trân Quôc Khanh, who is on a visit to Morocco.

At the end of the meeting, Sakhi said that this meeting was an opportunity to discuss several topics, including the promotion of trade relations and exchanges of experience and expertise in trade and training.

In a statement to MAP, Sakhi stressed that both parties aim to diversify trade, noting that members of the CCIS-RSK will also benefit from the Vietnamese experience in various areas, including training.

For his part, the Vietnamese official said in a similar statement that the objective of this visit is to further promote bilateral trade and investment relations in order to raise them to the level of diplomatic relations, which blew their 60th candle last year.

The volume of trade between Morocco and Vietnam barely exceeds 300 million dollars, said the Vietnamese official, assuring that he wants to do more to improve the volume of trade.

The meeting, which was attended by representatives of departments under the Vietnamese Ministry, including the Director General of the Chemicals Agency in Vietnam, was marked by the presence of the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Morocco, Dang Thi Thu Ha.
