The Moroccan national football team beat its Georgian peer by 3-0, in its last friendly match in preparation for the World Cup “Qatar 2022”, which took place on Thursday at Sharjah Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.
Youssef En-Nesyri headed the Atlas Lions in the 5th minute, while Hakim Ziyech doubled Morocco’s lead with a beautiful shot from midfield in the 29th minute, before Sofiane Boufal scored a penalty in the 72nd minute.
The national team is in Group F of the 2022 World Cup and will start the competition with a match against Croatia next Wednesday at the Al-Bayt stadium, then it will meet Belgium on November 27 at the Al-Thumama stadium, and conclude the first round with a confrontation with the Canadian selection on December 1, also at the Al-Thumama stadium.
