The 3rd edition of the Global Industry 4.0 Conference, scheduled for July 26 in Casablanca under the theme “Artificial intelligence at the service of productivity”, is placed under the aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research (MESRSI), and will see the participation of many experts including Rachid Yazami.

The announcement was made by Industrie du Maroc Magazine at the end of last week. In addition, a range of speakers are announced, all high-ranking and renowned experts.
A confirmed interest in AI
Indeed, it was during the past week that Industrie du Maroc Magazine received the formal agreement from the ministry. Support which, at the very least, reflects this ministry’s commitment to digital. As we mentioned in a recent article, in the current government, Abdellatif Miraoui is posing as a true champion of this new knowledge resulting from digital technology. A conviction that he shared again on Friday on the second panef of the Morocco Today Forum organized by the colleague Le Matin. “If you teach computer science today without integrating AI, you have done nothing,” he argued. This says it all for the strategic significance of this event for the ministry, hence its presence.
Yazami and other renowned speakers
Thus in the wake of this aegis, the organizers made public the speakers at this event. There are high-ranking luminaries and experts, including the very distinguished Rachid Yazami who will give a keynote. For the Moroccan scientist, this participation will undoubtedly be an opportunity to deepen his reflection started at the last book fair in Rabat. On this occasion, the inventor of the graphite anode devoted his talk to AI. Apart from him, three other speakers, and not the least, will also be at the desk for keynotes. They are the president of the AI movement at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Amal Seghrouchni, the president of ABA Technology, Mohamed Ben Ouda, and the local director of Capgemini, Idriss El Asri.
In addition to the keynotes, three panels are announced in the program. The first on “The impact of AI on the Moroccan economic and industrial ecosystem”, the second wording: “Artificial intelligence: Opportunities to be seized and challenges to be met”, and the last will shed light on the galaxy of startupers in this field. And as usual, the whole program will be interspersed with breaks and interludes offering moments of networking and B-to-be exchanges.
