Adil Rais and Clemente Gonzalez, elected co-presidents of the Morocco-Spain Economic Council

Adil Rais and Clemente Gonzalez were elected co-presidents of the Morocco-Spain Economic Council (CEMAES), following the holding of the General Assembly of this Council, yesterday, Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Casablanca.

The holding of this General Assembly, yesterday, Thursday, May 12, 2022, in Casablanca, comes the day after a new stage in relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and that of Spain, materialized after the visit of the President of the Spanish Government Pedro Sanchez in Morocco, at the invitation of King Mohammed VI.

In the presence of Chakib Alj, President of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), Antonio Garamendi, President of the Spanish Confederation of Enterprises, Karima Benyaich, Ambassador of Morocco in Madrid and Ricardo Diez-Hochleitner, Ambassador of Spain in Rabat, Adil Rais and Clemente Gonzalez have therefore been elected co-presidents of the Morocco-Spain Economic Council (CEMAES).

It was at the initiative of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and the Confederación Española de Organizaciones Empresariales (CEOE) that the Morocco-Spain Economic Council (CEMAES) was created in 2013.

This council brings together entrepreneurs and economic organizations from Morocco and Spain, wishing to develop an economic space common to both countries.
