Aeronautics: Sabca inaugurates its new factory in Casablanca

The Belgian company, Sabca, inaugurated its brand new site on the outskirts of Casablanca airport on November 23, 2022. Having required an investment of more than 180 million dirhams, for an area of 16,000 m2, the new plant will create 240 jobs. Thus, 15 months after the signing of a major contract to assemble the aerostructures of the Pilatus PC-12, Sabca and its parent company Orizio confirm their establishment in Morocco and their development strategy.

The group specifies that its strategy is based on a diversified offer allowing it to assert itself as a key strategic industrial and engineering partner of the aerospace industry (civil aviation, defence, space and drones), both in terms of maintenance and in design, production and innovation. As references of Sabca Morocco, we can cite Airbus, Pilatus, Daher or Dassault. Note that the inauguration ceremony was marked by the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Taoufiq Moucharraf.
