Engineering: Signing of two MoUs for the creation of 1,500 additional jobs

The government is supporting Capgemini Engineering to support its growth and the development of talent skills. This support was manifested by the signing of two memorandums of understanding (MoU) for the creation of 1,500 jobs by 2026

The Moroccan government, represented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, the Ministry of Investment, Convergence and the Evaluation of Public Policies,  and Capgemini Engineering Morocco announce the signing of two memorandums of understanding for the creation of 1,500 additional jobs by 2026.

The memorandums of understanding were initialed by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Ryad MEZZOUR and Mr. Idriss ELASRI, Managing Director of Capgemini Engineering, Chairman of the Country Board Capgemini Morocco. A signature that further positions Morocco as a technological and engineering destination for major international contractors, particularly European ones, and which illustrates the dynamism of the Kingdom’s human capital.

“In a context of strong rebound in the activity of major international contractors, the creation of additional jobs is a major lever for the growth and attractiveness of our country. The commitment and investment of leading groups such as Capgemini in the engineering sector is essential. We are proud to support this momentum of offshoring engineering professions in Morocco and we support the rise of national skills, the strengthening of professions in this sector as well as the employability of young people. These are central components of our strategy, in line with the High Royal Instructions for industrial acceleration, the creation and development of high-performance ecosystems”.
