Casablanca – The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has denied having held, on Monday, a meeting between its president Fouzi Lekjaa and the national coach, Vahid Halilhodzic.
According to a statement by the governing body of Moroccan soccer, this denial comes “in response to information posted Monday, May 2, 2022 by some websites about the sacking by the FRMF of the national coach Mr. Vahid Halilhodzic”.
“In order to clarify the public opinion, the FRMF specifies that no meeting has been held to date between the president of the FRMF and the national coach who is still on leave abroad,” the statement added.
Halilhodzic will be back at the Mohammed VI Football Complex during this week as previously announced, concluded the same source.
