The Moroccan handball team left the African Men’s Handball Championship, held in Egypt, after its defeat on Saturday in Cairo against Cape Verde (18-23) in the semi-final.
The national team will play the classification game against the loser of the other semi-final between Egypt and Tunisia.
Morocco qualified for the 2023 World Men’s Handball Championship, to be held in Poland and Sweden next January, after reaching the semi-finals of the this African contest.
