launch of a new call for projects for the emergence of industrial and technological clusters

As part of the implementation of the support program for the establishment of Moroccan clusters in the industrial and technological sectors, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is launching a new call for projects, with the aim of identifying and to select new cluster projects for the year 2023, eligible for financial support from the State.

This call for projects is also addressed to existing clusters, labeled under previous calls for projects launched by the Ministry and having exceeded 8 years of state support.

The cluster is a governance structure that brings together companies, start-ups and research and training establishments operating in the industrial and technological sectors, around a common vision aimed at the emergence of innovative collaborative projects and R&D with high added value.

Interested cluster project leaders can consult all the terms and conditions relating to this call for projects on the Ministry’s website (www.mcinet.gov.ma). The call for projects ends on May 19, 2023.

It should be recalled that the Ministry has launched, to date, 10 calls for projects as part of the cluster promotion program aimed at injecting a new dynamic into the competitiveness of industrial companies through the lever of innovation and R&D.

Following these calls for projects, 16 clusters were selected, of which 10 clusters are currently operational and benefit from state support. These clusters operate in industrial and/or technological sectors, including aeronautics, electronics and mechatronics, renewable energies, green technologies and energy efficiency, biomass and the recovery of natural waste, textiles ( textiles for technical use and DENIM and Fashion), agro-industry and luxury cosmetics, the promotion of seafood products and co-products, ICT and the medical and biomedical product development sector.
