Moroccan Bouchra Hajij re-elected vice-president of the UAVB

The president of the Royal Moroccan Volleyball Federation, Bouchra Hajij, was re-elected vice-president of the Arab Volleyball Union (UAVB) for a second term.

This re-election took place during the general assembly of this body, held on Saturday in Manama, and also marked by the appointment of Kuwaiti Abdelhadi Chabib as new president of the Arab Union for a four-year term (2022-2025), in succession in Bahrain Sheikh Mohammad bin Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa.

It should be noted that Bouchra Hajij, who had held several responsibilities within the commission in charge of the development of women’s sports and the Arab Volleyball Union, took part in a series of workshops on improving the image of women in the sports sector. She was also appointed member of the development commission of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA).

Reappointed by the International Olympic Committee as a member of the Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission, Ms. Hajij is a member of the ANOCA Parity Commission.
