Moroccan striker Tarik Tissoudali wins 2022 Ebony shoe award

Moroccan international player Tarik Tissoudali won Thursday the Ebony Shoe 2022 award, after completing a successful season within his club.

Ebony shoe is a football award in Belgium given annually to the best African or African origin player in the Belgian Pro League.

KAA La Gantoise’s striker scored 19 goals and provided 5 assists in a total of 29 league games.

The 29-year-old finished the season with 25 goals in all competitions, mainly the Belgian League Cup.

The Moroccan striker has also shown good performance with the national team in recent sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup, and the African Cup of Nations (CAN).

The Ebony Shoe award is given by the African Culture Promotion and Friendly Foot, with the jury composed of coaches of the Jupiler Pro League, the national coach Roberto Martinez, several sports journalists, and a series of honorary members.
