A communication received by the Maghreb Industry magazine stated that the invention of the Moroccan School of Sciences, the engineer, who won gold in this international scientific event entitled the Intelligent Offshore Prospecting System (SIProM), is among the important inventions that distinguish it as a connected smart system capable of collecting and transmitting marine data. or meteorological or other real-time data. The new innovation network “Seprom” consists of smart robots, each with one or more sensors, in order to collect environmental, meteorological, military and marine information. One of the applications of this innovation is to survey large sea surfaces with the aim of detecting the density and movement of fish in the desired area.
According to the same source, this invention can use the information collected in the field of fishing in order to ensure the efficiency of fishing in time and quantity: it would determine fishing trips and places in an effective way without getting lost in the oceans or wasting time without results.
“The invention, which won a gold medal at the 3rd ALL American DAVINCI International Exhibition of Innovation and Invention, enables biological, environmental, oceanographic and other scientific research to be conducted more efficiently thanks to the information that is processed and transmitted,” the same statement read.
