Road safety: Mohammed Talal elected president of the Moroccan Private Sector Coalition

As part of the celebration of the United Nations World Road Safety Week, the Moroccan Private Sector Coalition for Road Safety met to unveil its strategic priorities in the presence of institutional actors from the public sector and private sector operators. road sector.

All the founding members of the Coalition, in particular the Société Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM), TotalEnergies Marketing Maroc, La Voie Express, Ama Détergent, Derichebourg/ARMA, Karama Bus, MaroTrans, Sahara Logistic Nord (SLN), Sotragaz, have on this occasion adopted a charter which defines their collective commitment in favor of reducing the number of deaths and injuries on the roads of Morocco. This charter affirms the values, principles, ethical standards and responsibilities on which all members have agreed and which they share. It also defines their priorities in various areas such as the selection and inspection of carriers, the application of a health and safety policy at work, the strengthening of driver skills, the management of journeys or the respect of standards. vehicle technology.

The Coalition also proceeded to the appointments of its President and its Vice-President, respectively Mohammed Talal of the Voie Express and President of the Logistics Commission at the CGEM and Abdesslam Rhnimi, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Morocco.

A press conference was held at the end of this meeting, during which the new President of the Coalition, Mohammed Talal declared: “I thank my colleagues for their confidence and I salute the commitment of all the members founders of the Coalition. I encourage other companies to join us. Road safety is a shared responsibility and a cause that we must all defend”.
