The Renault Morocco Foundation has closed its 9th “TKAYES SCHOOL” road safety campaign, a citizen initiative that aims to raise awareness among road users in public schools of the dangers of traffic through a playful model to learn good road reflexes. Deployed over 14 weeks in more than 77 public establishments in the regions of Tangier and Casablanca, this 2022 edition benefited more than 12,000 schoolchildren aged 9 to 13. This year, the Casablanca region alone counted more than 7,000 beneficiaries. Thus, since its launch in 2015, “TKAYES SCHOOL” has reached 62,000 beneficiaries.
In a way that is both fun and creative, the “TKYAES SCHOOL” awareness workshops are organized each year in collaboration with the provincial departments of national education in the regions concerned. Supported by specialized animators and educational materials labeled to deal with the dangers of the road, “TKAYES SCHOOL” is a real civic program which is offered to establishments and students.
The educational tool of the “Tkayes School” program also benefited in 2021 from the approval of the national agency for road safety “NARSA”.
Each road risk awareness campaign is an opportunity to instil real road safety education and to promote the values of citizenship.
