French striker Kylian Mbappe is expected to announce his final decision regarding his career by this weekend, reports French sports media outlets.
The 23-year-old will have to choose between two options, whether to stay with his PSG club or move to Real Madrid.
The French striker’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain is expected to expire by the end of this season, in late June of this year.
Spanish media reported in recent days that an agreement was reached between the French striker and Real Madrid, without a document being officially signed between both parties.
PSG offered to double Kylian Mbappe’s current salary package, in a move to retain the French striker, reported French media outlets on May 17.
PSG club offered Mbappe a salary of £4million a month and a signing fee of £100million.
Real Madrid offered Mbappe a signing bonus of 40 million euros, and a net salary of 21 million euros per season.
More recently, Mbappe won the French league’s best player award of the season for the third consecutive time during the UNFP awards ceremony.
