The Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC) said that 69,042 companies were created at the end of September 2022, this November 11. In terms of distribution of these companies, the general dashboard of OMPIC indicated 47,527 correspondents to legal persons and 21,515 to natural persons. With a share of 36.27%, the trade sector saw more company creation than the others. This is followed by construction and real estate activities (17.78%), miscellaneous services (17.51%), transport (9.03%), industries (7.04%), hotels and restaurants ( 6.46%), ICT (2.59%), agriculture and fishing (2.23%) as well as financial activities (1.09%). Some 62.8% of the companies created are SARL-AU, 36.8% SARL, 0.3% SA and 0.1% SNC. Regarding their regional distribution, 19,338 are in the Casablanca-Settat region, 9,792 for Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 9,239 for Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 6,845 in Marrakech-Safi and 5,319 in Fez-Meknes. .
