Tangier: SKF invests US$4.9 million in a new site

A leader in the field of mechanical bearings, SKF has just invested $4.9 million in a new magnetic bearing manufacturing site in Tangier. The Swedish group is thus increasing its technical and manufacturing capacities in the field.

The new site will ramp up operations during the second quarter and, when fully operational, will help meet the growing demand for magnetic bearings, which have a number of applications in turbomachinery and other high-speed applications, including including hydrogen gas liquefaction and for oil-free industrial applications. compressors.
